My hotel in Lohr am Main.
Can you tell which room belongs to Bob.
Just a scene across the river.
I have seen probably a million apples on the ground by the bike path. I do not know why.
More places on the ridge of the hills overlooking the Main river.
I wish I had one of these. Do you know hat it is? Think French Volkswagon
The vineyards I promised yesterday.
Stolpersteine (stumbling blocks), memorials to Jews murdered during the Holocaust. The plaques are put in the pavement in mark places to towns that Jews lived prior to the war. I have posted these before.
Just another beer. It reminds we of a Jimmy Buffet song but never mind.
My dinner a pork steak with three cheeses melted on top with Spatzle. One of my favorites.
The streets of Wertheim as I walked home after dinner. It kind of reminded me of Auburn in the 1960's. the picture below is the President's home for the local University. Well maybe not. It is another old ruin that has been partly reconstructed and it contains a recommended German restaurant. I could not climb the hill, so I ate elsewhere.
MiniPuegot? Hope your pain in the rear is better. Ours (think T) is just getting worse😏
ReplyDeleteMaybe the pain will be removed with the next few days, weeks, months, or years. I hope years as the other pain (think mp) will be worse in the interim.
DeleteIs that a citron? Don't they have 2 bank rotary engines? Seen a few but not many. I saw the new alfa romeo sport coupe.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a Citroēn C2V. It was an inexpensive French 2 cylinder auto that was very popular 8 to 9 million very made from the 50' to the 80's. They did not get exported to the USA like the Volkswagen did. I have seen them with every panel and door painted a different color.
DeleteAll that hunch in over on your bike can't be good for your back.
ReplyDeleteI mostly ride sitting up. I think it come from having to lift and or carry the full loaded bike at times.
