Saturday, April 26, 2014 - Guttingen, Switzerland

A most interesting day, more to follow. There was no wifi internet at the hotel, only Ethernet which my Macbook does not have. You can tell it was a long day. Much too long for a second day of the ride. I finished the day very leg tired.

The day started overcast but on a level bike path. My calculations was for a 60+ km ride. i only missed by a few km.

I did ride by a campground that was having a dog competition. I stopped and watched a few minutes. 

After many hours I arrived at the Bodensee. It is a very big and wide lake formed primarily by the Rhein River from the Alps. It is a very busy vacation spot on the German, Austrian and Swiss side. Yes it borders all three countries.  My treat for completing 50 km.

 Tonights hotel is a cure hotel on the shores of the lake. They had a full medical staff. I sure could of used a massage as my legs were tired.
