New trip in planning stages.

New trip planned.

Great news, bicycle adjustments are being made, reservations are in place, stuff is being packed, beer is being brewed. New Blogs are coming. This years bike trip will connect the previous two trips. The ride will be from  Stuttgart, Germany to Brussels, Belgium through Xanten, Germany. It should be approximately 880 KM in length. I will be leaving the US on August 5, 2012.  The actual bicycle portion of the trip begins Tuesday, August 7 at about 1:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time, but of course it will be about 8:00 a.m. in Stuttgart. I will work on my blog skills and mastering new updates to the  blog program between now and then.  I hope to be able to add pictures from my camera and my phone this year. I am taking my laptop (used in 2010) not my notebook (used in 2011), so I think I should be able to keep the posts going for the entire trip. The few hotels I have booked all advertise free wifi. We will see how that goes.
