This day started out like the last few, good roads, good signs, and good weather. It quickly passed over the Enn river and then over the Donau River. The Donau keeps growing and growing. After going over the Donau bridge things when down hill fast. Or if a picture is worth a thousand words, it went down the steps fast. That was a bunch of steps with a loaded bike. they did have a bike channel on the steps but it was steep and you had to walk the bike using your brakes.

The river valley changed multiple time today. It would be narrow with steep hills and then somewhat flat with rolling hills. In many places you could see the Alps off in the distance. There were castle and churches on top of many of the highest hills. Needless to say I did not visit them.

One town had an interesting set of mirrors on the bike path coming into town. I vainly stopped to admire my bike and my attire. Todays ride was 92 km. I am tired and need a little rest. The town is small and more of a tourist town like in the Smokies.

The day ended with a good beer and a good meal. The meal is from the snack menu for those with a light hunger. Not a light snack. I did clean my plate thinking about why I should not do that.

I was afraid all this riding would make you look all svelte and then give you a big head. Glad to hear it hasn't happened yet.
