Pre-trip Emotions

Hi to all,
As departure time draws both the excitement and the apprehensions increase. I know all with be well and the adventure will be well worth taking. Still one cannot help but wonder what will be the the unexpected parts of the trip. Will that problem solving moment occur at the Montgomery Airport or on the road in Passau, Germany. I think that is a part of both the excitement and the apprehension. That also may be why I am making this trip. Well enough of the heartfelt emotions and on to the reality of packing. I have packed the bike and some other stuff in the bike box. At this time I do not remember what is in the bike box.  It will be like Christmas morning when I open it in Stuttgart on Tuesday. I hope I have all of the tools needed for the trip. Well as I always say about traveling, if you go to civilized places anything you forgot will be for sale at a store there.
