Saturday, August 25, 2018, Seligenstadt am Main, Hesse, Germany

Today started with a good breakfast at my hotel. I was the only guest. I had a nice conversation with the owner. She was very nice. Her and her husband live somewhere else and the kitchen was closed last night so I was the only person there. It was interesting. It was also very quite. I rested well. Today on the bike path there a lot of rain. The temperature was 51 degrees when I left. I put on all of my rain clothes three times. The ride seemed short but it was 48 km. I am in a small town north of Aschaffenberg. It has a monastery. It was started in 815 AD. The town was started by the romans about 100AD. I toured the monastery and it is very historic as the town and monastery are close being the oldest in Germany. I have many pictures to add but not get to them until I get to Frankfurt as this time my internet is very very slow. I will post picture to the last four post before I leave Germany on Tuesday morning.
