Internet connection poor, only works well in the bar. We will see how that goes. All is well, still in the bar. Took too many pictures today to post them all. You will have to come by the house a watch them on the big screen. The Rhine river valley got very scenic today. Tall hills, wide rive, and fast current all at the same time. I wonder how the early Germanic tribes, say about four or five thousand years ago dealt with the river.
I rode with Bern, a 71 year old retired stad worker, for about twenty kilometers today. We had a great conversation and shared much in common. He is the first person in the pictures. I also talked with Peter again. I met him and his friend on the ferry yesterday. We also rode a short ways together. We did meet up again and again. He is from Holland. He was very nice and friendly. We exchanged email addresses.
