Hello to all. I ride again the week after Easter. This trip will be to Belgium, Holland, and hopefully at least a part of France. I will try to keep all informed of my successes and failures. The last trip was a great adventure. I learned a lot about bicycle touring. In the seven months since the conclusion of that trip I have forgotten a lot about bicycle touring. This trip is to see if I can remember any of the lessons learned; like pack what you think you need and take 50% of it out and leave it behind. I failed at that lesson on the last trip.
The lesson I really really really hope I remember most is how to pack and unpack the bike into the bike case. I have a few days to practice while I cheat on, I mean prepare my Income Tax. Is not that day the 15th of April. After that it will smooth sailing or maybe riding. Here hoping for a tail wind the entire trip.
