Was a good day until internet problems, the weather was good, the path was level, the hotel is good, but the company is getting very boring. The picture on the left is by request for Lydia. On the right is Walhalla outside Regensburg.
The ride to Straubing was very ride nice all most too easy until the dreaded Umleitung (Detour) sign appeared. Actually it was not bad I just wanted you to see one. It should put fear in your heart for you are about to be lost.
The top cats have come out to greet me in every town. I have seen plenty of cats walking freely in every town but I have as now still not seen a dog that was not restrained. 
In Straubing they were having a major fair. There were literally no rooms in the Inn. I stayed about 7km from town in the inn with internet problems. I got lots of real good help with the directions. The food and the beer was good.Bis Morgen

ReplyDeleteWe'll look forward to a double blog tomorrow. So, let review. You keep talking about the Black Sea, but you're really going to finish the trip at Wien, right? I'll be responding in broken English from now on because I've used up all of my limited Deutsch vocabulary. Really, if truth be known, it's limited to bratwurst, bier und other food items. We hope the rest of the trip is downhill as you first claimed the entire trip would be, and that the rain, er, wind is always at your back. Cheers, Jack
